Come along for the ride...
She didn't know it then.
Of course she didn't know.
Who knows what happens next?
She wanted good.
Not perfect.
Not extraordinary.
Just good and safe and nice.
A family.
That's all she ever wanted.
Come along for the ride...
She had her first so long ago,
her joy
her love.
A tiny little newborn.
She had the very best;
Her kids,
her pride,
the cutest little faces!
Oh, what joy,
a family.
Her family!
What joy!
Come along for the ride...
Hurt.
Tears and broken hearts.
Shattered pieces everywhere.
Thousands!
Safe and nice,
and good is gone.
Come along for the ride...
Scary then, how fast it goes.
And God is blamed for things...
She ran away.
So far away.
And felt so all alone.
Secrets.
No one understands.
No one cares.
Selfishness takes over.
The land of the Free
Was not Free for her.
Come along for the ride...
Mistakes and ungodliness
She feels it in her blood.
Day after day,
Week after week,
Month after month!
Until she falls apart:
"Please forgive me Father,
Help me! I am LOST!"
He hears her plead.
Her cry for help.
She is His child.
He is her Father.
Once again.
Come along for the ride...
So many tears.
Mistakes.
Broken wings.
Life is hard when you are all alone,
even when your not.
Stumbling in the darkest hour
Thinking you do right,
When its wrong.
Come along for the ride...
She has kids with many men.
Three?
Yes, three.
Shame on her!
She has married twice?
No, three!
I have heard it from reliable sources!
Gossip will burn your lips
And cut your tongue.
Or the mirror will show yourself in a few...
Come along for the ride...
Oh, don't talk.
Hush.
Bury it under carpets,
or the dirt.
6 feet under.
Or deeper
if you can!
Silence!
No.
It had to be said.
She is tired.
SHE was honest.
Honesty pay a high price.
She should know.
She isn't proud
She isn't shameful.
She is humble.
Thank you for the ride...
